On a recent podcast, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. criticised President-elect Donald Trump’s eating habits, calling his food choices “just poison.”
Trump’s love of fast food is no secret, often showcased during campaign stops, like his well-publicized McDonald’s fry cook photo-op in Pennsylvania. Speaking on The Joe Polish Show, Kennedy shared his disapproval of Trump’s diet, noting that “campaign food is always bad,” but on Trump’s plane, he said, it’s even worse, describing options like KFC and Big Macs as barely edible.
Kennedy claimed that Trump’s close friend, UFC president Dana White, once told him he’d never seen Trump drink water, despite sitting through five-hour fights together. Trump’s preference for Diet Coke is well-known, and footage from his granddaughter’s Mar-a-Lago vlog shows him drinking soda and receiving takeout on election night.
Kennedy, who initially sought the Democratic nomination before endorsing Trump, also marveled at Trump’s stamina, recalling a time Trump stayed awake for 48 hours straight, delivering a speech without any sleep. At 78, Trump’s endurance seems unmatched, said Kennedy, who added that even he, at 70, couldn’t keep up.
