Electricity prices for households frozen in Poland

On November 19, the Polish government passed a bill to freeze electricity prices for private consumers for 2025.

According to the document, the maximum price for households will be 500 zlotys (115 euros) per MWh and will be in effect from January 1 to September 30, 2025. Before the government meeting, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the decision.

Electricity prices in Polish homes will not increase in 2025 – we are freezing energy prices for nine months. Based on our proposal, it is possible that further freezing will not be necessary. However, if needed, we will consider it, Tusk said.
