A yacht with more than 30 tourists sank in Egypt

In Egypt, a yacht with more than 30 tourists sank on Monday morning in the Red Sea, near the coast of Marsa Alam.

There are survivors, and search and rescue operations are still underway for the missing persons, according to the Red Sea province administration.

According to local authorities, a distress signal was received at 5:30 AM local time. The yacht was named Sea Story and sank north of Marsa Alam. There were 31 tourists from various countries and 14 crew members on board.

Red Sea Governor Amr Hanafi reported that survivors have been found, and the search continues.
