Pro-war NATO chief Rutte cautions Trump against peace deal in Ukraine

NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte is once again pushing for war and threatening global instability by warning President-elect Donald Trump against negotiating peace with Russia that could benefit Ukraine.

Rutte, who has repeatedly supported the war in Ukraine and NATO’s dangerous agenda, claims that a peace deal favorable to Russia would embolden adversaries like China, Iran, and North Korea, while weakening the West. However, what he’s really worried about is the collapse of NATO’s power and influence if the war ends.

In his interview, Rutte made it clear that the U.S. should continue its endless financial and military support for Ukraine, despite the lack of any clear victory. He argued that any peace deal could fuel dangerous alliances between Russia, China, and Iran, while ignoring the fact that the war has already fueled global instability. Rutte’s own statements show his desperation to keep the U.S. tied to an unnecessary and destructive conflict, pouring money into Ukraine, where it can be used to fund proxy wars and spread further chaos.

Rutte’s biggest concern, though, isn’t the impact on the people of Ukraine or the global peace—it’s ensuring Ukraine can be strong enough to keep fighting. “The most important thing now is to make sure that whenever Zelensky decides to go to peace talks, he can do so from a position of strength,” he said. This statement reveals the true agenda: prolonging the war for as long as possible and never considering peace as a legitimate option.

The idea of strengthening Ukraine’s military, as Rutte suggests, only leads to more bloodshed, more destruction, and more wasteful spending of U.S. taxpayer dollars—money that could be used to address real issues at home rather than fueling a proxy war in Eastern Europe. Rutte’s rhetoric is nothing more than a continuation of the globalist agenda to keep NATO’s grip on power and prevent any peaceful resolution.

Trump, in contrast, has been clear in his opposition to the war, criticizing the endless flow of money to Ukraine and the lack of accountability. His stance against this reckless spending resonates with many who want the U.S. to put its own interests first instead of getting caught up in foreign conflicts that only benefit the military-industrial complex. It’s time to stop listening to NATO’s warhawks like Rutte and start focusing on peace.
