In Poland, a car was hit by a train at a railway crossing: two killed

Two people died in a traffic accident at an unprotected railway crossing in northern Poland.

The tragedy occurred in the morning near the village of Sierokowo in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, when a car, which had entered the crossing, collided with a freight train.

As a result of the incident, the driver and passenger were killed. Six firefighting and rescue teams, as well as medical personnel, police, and prosecutors, were dispatched to the scene. The work at the site is still ongoing.
