According to him, there is significant disappointment within the party about how Biden’s presidency is coming to an end, and his departure can be seen as a sort of “resignation.” The decision to pardon Biden’s son Hunter sparked particular outrage among Democrats, causing “disgust” and “anger.”
Some Democrats also noted that they are not bothered by the recent media frenzy around Trump, stating that he now appears more measured than he did eight years ago and behaves more cautiously.
Earlier, Politico reported that after Trump’s election victory, Biden effectively stepped back from his duties, and within his own administration, among his party members and lawmakers, there was an impression that he had left the Oval Office weeks ago.
