American billionaire Elon Musk, known for his controversial political statements, criticized UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
In a series of posts on the platform X, he also called for early elections in the country. Musk published several messages condemning Starmer’s actions during his tenure as the Chief Public Prosecutor. He also demanded the release of right-wing activist Tommy Robinson from prison and declared that the only hope for the UK lies with Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party.
In response to a poll indicating declining support for the Labour government, Musk voiced the need for a new vote. Previously, the billionaire expressed support for German right-wing politicians, writing a column in their favor for the newspaper Welt am Sonntag. The incident sparked a scandal, leading to the resignation of the publication’s editor-in-chief, Eva-Maria Kogel, as an act of protest.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Alice Weidel, leader of Germany’s Alternative for Germany party, announced plans to organize an online meeting with Musk.
