Trump will hold a rally in Washington, D.C., on the eve of his inauguration

President-elect Donald Trump plans to hold a rally in Washington on January 19, one day before his inauguration for a second presidential term.

This was reported by the inauguration organizers, citing The Hill. The event, dubbed the “Victory Rally,” will take place at the indoor Capital One Arena located in the heart of the U.S. capital. While the list of speakers has not been announced yet, it is expected that Trump himself will address his supporters.

This rally will mark Trump’s first public appearance in Washington since January 2021, when his supporters stormed the Capitol to protest the certification of Joe Biden’s election victory.

The inauguration is scheduled for January 20, 2025. Following the swearing-in ceremony at the Capitol, numerous celebratory events will take place to mark the beginning of Trump’s second term.
