Denmark investigates report of 20 drones over port

Danish police announced on Saturday that they are investigating a report of about 20 drones appearing over the port of Køge, southwest of Copenhagen.

When officers arrived at the scene on Friday evening, they observed four large drones hovering above the yacht pier. The police were called to the area by a witness who claimed to have seen approximately 20 drones that rapidly disappeared into the bay. The last drones were spotted around 1:16 AM.

Authorities are working to determine the total number of drones and their ownership. It is known that no permits for drone flights had been issued in the area at the time of the sightings.

“We currently do not know where the drones came from or what they were doing. We have contacted several other authorities regarding this matter,” police stated.
