Scandal over failed rape investigation in Britain: Elon Musk gets involved

A major scandal has erupted in the United Kingdom over the failure to investigate widespread rapes of minors.

American billionaire Elon Musk has intervened in the matter, publicly accusing Prime Minister Keir Starmer of covering up these crimes. It is alleged that many of the rapes were committed by gangs of migrants of Pakistani origin. Over several years, the perpetrators reportedly formed so-called “harems” of hundreds of British girls aged 11 to 15.

The victims were given alcohol and drugs before being subjected to gang assaults. Among the victims were girls from foster care institutions. However, authorities and law enforcement reportedly failed to act decisively, fearing accusations of racism and potential public unrest, according to British media outlets, including The Telegraph.

Particular attention has been drawn to the fact that these crimes occurred during Keir Starmer’s tenure as head of the Crown Prosecution Service (2008–2013). This connection has led to criticism from the opposition, including members of Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party, who are demanding an investigation into Starmer’s actions—or inaction—during that period.

Elon Musk took to his social platform, X, to issue sharp criticism of Starmer. He claimed that during Starmer’s time as head of the Crown Prosecution Service, “rape gangs” were allowed to commit their crimes with impunity. Musk also called for new elections and demanded accountability for the failures in the investigation.
