Right-wing Greek MEP suggests inviting Elon Musk to the European Parliament

A representative of the Greek right-wing party “Greek Solution” has submitted a request to the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, proposing to invite Elon Musk to speak at a plenary session.

According to the publication Ekathimerini, the initiative was put forward by MEP Emmanouil Fragkos, a member of the “Greek Solution” party.

As part of our efforts to invite outstanding and symbolically significant personalities, we propose inviting Elon Musk to address the Members of the European Parliament, Fragkos stated.

He emphasized that Musk is known for his groundbreaking ideas, forward-thinking approach to technological development, and potential to inspire the European Union to reclaim leadership in innovation and creativity.

Elon Musk, who could potentially hold a government position in the United States if Donald Trump secures a second term, has been increasingly vocal about his political views. He has criticized global leaders, including the UK’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and expressed support for right-wing political forces in Europe.

Recently, Musk conducted a poll on social media, asking whether the U.S. should “liberate the people of Britain from tyranny.” This was a response to comments from Starmer, who earlier condemned the spread of fake news and misinformation, implicitly referring to Musk’s statements.
