Musk wants to remove Keir Starmer as UK PM

Billionaire Elon Musk has reportedly held private discussions with allies about removing UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer from office before the next election.

According to a Financial Times report cited by Reuters, Musk—the world’s richest person and a close ally of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump—last month expressed support for a German right-wing party ahead of elections scheduled for February. He has also repeatedly commented on UK politics, calling for Starmer’s resignation.

The report claims that Musk has been weighing how he and his allies could destabilize the Labour government and has sought information on how to gain support from alternative British political movements to force a change in government. This information comes from sources familiar with the matter.

Musk did not respond to Reuters’ request for comment outside of regular working hours.

“He believes that Western civilization itself is under threat,” one of the sources told the FT.

Previously, Musk accused Starmer of failing to hold accountable gangs of men who allegedly abused young girls during his tenure as Director of Public Prosecutions from 2008 to 2013.
