Mass evacuations are ongoing in Los Angeles County, with an additional 153,000 people forced to leave their homes, while 166,000 residents remain on standby for potential evacuation orders.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) reported that weaker winds have allowed firefighters to contain some wildfire hotspots. However, meteorologists warn that winds are expected to intensify in the coming days, potentially worsening the situation.
The situation remains critical, with emergency services and authorities working to minimize damage and ensure the safety of residents.
