On the night of January 14, a powerful explosion occurred in a residential building in the Ortachala district of Tbilisi.
The incident resulted in one fatality and four injuries, including a child. According to “News Georgia,” the explosion took place on the fourth floor of the building, causing part of the wall to collapse.
Preliminary reports suggest that a gas leak may have caused the tragedy. The affected building, formerly used as a hotel, is known to house internally displaced persons from Abkhazia.
