German startup offers to freeze a body for $200,000 in hopes of cheating death

The German company Tomorrow.Bio is offering an unusual service—freezing a body immediately after death.

The process uses liquid nitrogen, which prevents the formation of ice crystals and preserves cells from damage. So far, the startup has cryopreserved several people and even pets. Additionally, around 700 individuals have signed contracts with the company for the future provision of this service.

Tomorrow.Bio plans to expand its business to the United States by 2025, where the demand for cryonic technology is higher. However, scientists warn that there is currently no evidence to suggest that reviving frozen individuals will be possible in the future.
