On Sunday, January 19, police in the Dutch province of Limburg discovered an object resembling a hand grenade near a boat serving as a shelter for Ukrainian refugees.
The incident occurred near the city of Mook, where authorities initially suspected the object might be a grenade, potentially an unexploded ordnance from World War II. However, after investigation, it was confirmed to be a dummy.
As a precaution, 86 Ukrainian refugees were temporarily evacuated to the municipal council building.
