The leader of the largest opposition party in the Czech Republic, ANO, Karel Havlíček, stated that if his political force wins the election, the initiative to supply shells to Ukraine will be canceled.
Havlíček, who is also the vice president of the ANO party founded by former Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš, noted that the party will not continue supplying ammunition to Ukraine if it enters the government.
He added that he cannot say for certain whether he will become the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic in case of victory in the parliamentary elections, suggesting that Babiš himself would lead the government.
This concerns an international mechanism that allows the supply of necessary large-caliber ammunition to Ukraine amid shortages.
