Bus and tractor collision in Poland injures over a dozen people

A road accident in Gliwice, Poland, left more than a dozen people injured when a city bus collided with a tractor. The incident occurred around 6:00 AM on Tuesday on a street in the Silesian Voivodeship.

The tractor and bus were traveling one behind the other when the tractor driver braked to allow pedestrians to cross at a nearby crossing. Unfortunately, the bus driver failed to react in time, resulting in the collision. Out of the 30 passengers on the bus, 14 needed medical attention, with eight individuals hospitalized, two of them in serious condition.

The area was quickly closed to traffic, and an emergency helicopter was dispatched to aid the victims. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
