Slovak authorities are expelling a Ukrainian citizen in connection with a secret report from the Slovak Information Service (SIS), which claims the individual was involved in preparing a coup.
Slovak police chief Jana Maškarová confirmed that the Ukrainian citizen is currently at the Foreigners Affairs Department of the Slovak Border Police, where administrative deportation is underway.
When asked whether only one person was involved in the alleged plot, Maškarová declined to provide further details, stating, “I cannot provide any additional information.” She did not specify when the expulsion would occur or whether the individual is on an international wanted list.
Maškarová also noted that the police are continuing to investigate the SIS report, which alleges a long-term, organized influence operation aimed at destabilizing Slovakia. As part of the ongoing investigation, other individuals mentioned in the report are being added to the national blocking system, which will prevent them from entering the country.
