Suspect in school shooting in Sweden commits suicide

The suspected gunman who opened fire near a school in the Swedish city of Örebro has taken his own life, according to the newspaper Expressen, citing unnamed sources.

Swedish police earlier reported a special operation in connection with the incident near the educational institution. Five people were injured in the shooting, but the severity of their injuries remains unknown.

According to the SVT television channel, the incident took place at Campus Risbergska, a school for adult education. Police clarified that none of their officers were injured in the shooting.
