Trump revoked Biden’s access to classified U.S. information

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he is revoking his predecessor Joe Biden’s access to intelligence materials, which are traditionally provided to former heads of state.

He made this statement on Truth Social, emphasizing that Biden has “no need” to continue receiving classified information. Trump reminded that in 2021, Biden set this precedent by blocking the 45th U.S. president from accessing intelligence reports—something that was previously standard practice for former leaders.

The Hur Report proved that Biden has memory issues, and even in his prime, he couldn’t be trusted with classified information. I will always protect our national security—Joe, you’re fired! Trump declared.

Previously, in 2021, Biden justified his decision to deny Trump access to intelligence briefings by citing his “unstable behavior.” Meanwhile, legal cases against Trump regarding the storage of classified documents were officially closed in January 2025. According to CNN, Trump is already in the process of returning the seized materials.
