Congresswoman Nancy Mace accused President Joe Biden’s administration of conducting unnecessary and cruel scientific experiments funded by taxpayers.
According to her, nearly $10 million of federal funds were spent on research conducted under diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs. Among these experiments were the creation of transgender mice, rats, and monkeys.
Mace emphasized that such research is not only unethical but also ineffective, as in 90% of cases, treatments that are beneficial for animals do not have the same effect on humans. She noted that invasive surgeries and hormone therapies were performed on animals at universities across the country.
The congresswoman also stated that the Biden administration spent $2.5 million studying the fertility of transgender mice and funded experiments on male monkeys to test their susceptibility to HIV after hormone therapy.
