On Saturday, February 8, an incident occurred with the car of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić — the wheel of the vehicle fell off. This was reported by RTS.
The incident took place during a trip by the president to a village in Vojvodina, near the border with Romania and Hungary. Initially, Vučić stated that it was just a flat tire, but later administration representatives confirmed that the situation was more serious.
A video circulating on social media shows the wheel detaching from the car. Afterward, the president was transferred to another vehicle, and the convoy continued its journey.
This incident was unusual because the vehicle involved is an armored special transport designed for transporting high-ranking officials. After the event, some government members suggested that the breakdown might not have been accidental. Minister Đorđe Milević stated that, although he could not definitively claim it was an assassination attempt, the current political situation and actions by certain groups in the country require a thorough investigation to rule out any malicious intent.
