U.S. President Donald Trump has revoked former Secretary of State Antony Blinken, former National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, and several other officials’ access to classified information.
A day earlier, similar restrictions were imposed on his predecessor, Joe Biden, Reuters reports, citing White House sources. Among those who also lost access to classified information are former Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, New York Attorney General Letitia James, and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. These officials had previously led investigations against Trump himself.
Earlier, the U.S. president explained that he had banned Biden from receiving classified information due to the former president’s declining memory. “Joe, you’re fired,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
