Trump spoke to Zelensky after his conversation with Putin

U.S. President Donald Trump held a phone conversation with Volodymyr Zelensky after speaking with Vladimir Putin. The call lasted about an hour.

Earlier, Trump stated that he and Putin had agreed to stop the “millions of deaths” in the war between Russia and Ukraine. He instructed a group of high-ranking officials to start negotiations, expressing confidence in their success.

Zelensky previously noted that one of the topics of his future dialogue with Trump could be mineral resources in the occupied territories. The U.S. has already presented Kyiv with a draft partnership agreement, which includes investments in Ukraine’s resources in exchange for support. Trump also mentioned a possible $500 billion deal, which includes arms supplies.
