American entrepreneur and head of the newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Elon Musk, has called the situation with social benefits in the U.S. the “biggest fraud” in history.
He made this statement on social media platform X, commenting on data showing that the number of Americans receiving social benefits (394 million) significantly exceeds the official U.S. population (334 million). According to him, the actual number of U.S. citizens eligible for social benefits is around 310 million.
Earlier, Musk published a table with age data of benefit recipients, revealing that millions of them are between 120 and 249 years old, and one “supercentenarian” is reportedly between 360 and 369 years old.
Previously, U.S. President Donald Trump appointed Elon Musk and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy as heads of DOGE, an agency created to reduce wasteful spending and restructure federal institutions.
