The Kremlin has not ruled out the possibility that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump could occur before the end of February.
Putin’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, addressed the speculation, stating that while the meeting might happen soon, preparations could take longer.
When asked about the timing of a potential meeting, Peskov said: “Maybe. Or maybe not.”
Recently, Trump indicated that a face-to-face meeting with Putin could occur “very soon.” However, when asked to clarify the timing, Trump acknowledged that no final decision had been made yet.
