Trump calls Zelensky a dictator for refusing to hold an election

U.S. President Donald Trump called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky a dictator, claiming that he refuses to hold elections.

Trump wrote about this on the social media platform Truth Social, also asserting that Zelensky’s popularity among Ukrainians is allegedly extremely low.

He doesn’t want to hold elections, his rating in Ukrainian polls is very low. The only thing he is really good at is ‘playing Biden like a fiddle.’ A dictator without elections. Zelensky better move fast, or he won’t have a country left, Trump stated.

He also recalled that, in his opinion, Zelensky, being a “humble comedian,” managed to persuade the U.S. to allocate $350 billion for a war that, according to him, cannot be won and should never have started.

Additionally, Trump noted that the U.S. has spent $200 billion more than Europe and expressed confidence that European countries would get their money back, while America would receive nothing in return. According to him, the war is much more significant for Europe than for the U.S., as they are separated by a “big, beautiful ocean.”
