More than half of Poles dissatisfied with Tusk’s government

Less than a third of Poles are currently satisfied with the actions of Donald Tusk’s government, while the number of dissatisfied citizens is nearly twice as high.

These are the results of the latest Opinia24 poll conducted for RMF FM.

According to the survey, 57% of respondents are unhappy with the current government’s actions, while only 31% hold the opposite view.

Among those surveyed, 7% rated the government’s performance as “definitely positive,” while 24% considered it “rather positive.” On the other hand, 33% of respondents have a strongly negative opinion of the government, and 24% rate it as “rather negative.”

Interestingly, as many as 12% of respondents were unable to clearly assess the government’s performance.

Support for Tusk’s government varies across demographics. Among the oldest and most educated Poles, 39% and 37%, respectively, view the government’s achievements positively. However, nearly 70% of those with vocational education and almost two-thirds of rural residents are more critical.

Men are significantly more dissatisfied with the government—62% express discontent, with 37% holding a strongly negative opinion and one in four describing their stance as “rather negative.” Among women, a majority is also critical, though at a lower rate of 53%.

As expected, 90% of Law and Justice (PiS) voters have a grim view of Tusk’s government. This is not balanced by the satisfaction of Civic Coalition supporters, 77% of whom approve of the government’s actions.
