More than 100 U.S. intelligence officers to be fired over sexually explicit messages

Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of U.S. National Intelligence, announced that over 100 members of the intelligence community would be fired for participating in explicit sexual conversations in the National Security Agency (NSA) chatrooms.

According to CNN, Gabbard stated that these employees violated trust and used the NSA platform, intended for professional purposes, for inappropriate behavior.

Today, I have issued an order that all of them will be fired, and their access to classified information will be revoked, Gabbard said on Tuesday.

Earlier, Alex Henning, spokesperson for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, stated that intelligence agencies had been instructed to identify and fire employees involved in such conversations by the end of the week and revoke their work clearances.
