The man, identified as 28-year-old Ebrima T., first stirred trouble by allegedly threatening a neighbor with a knife. Before authorities could intervene, he bolted into the streets, shedding his clothes and confronting bystanders along the way. Witnesses, stunned by the bizarre spectacle, quickly flooded emergency lines with reports of a naked man making threats in the middle of town.

At one point, Ebrima dropped to his knees in the middle of a busy road and began praying—coincidentally near a police station. Officers soon arrived to detain him, but that was easier said than done. He fought back aggressively, forcing them into a prolonged struggle before they could haul him into a holding cell.

Recognizing his unstable mental state, police summoned a doctor, who promptly recommended psychiatric hospitalization. Yet, just as officers were transferring him to an ambulance, Ebrima lashed out again, injuring three officers in the scuffle. Despite their minor injuries, all officers remained on duty, and Ebrima was finally transported to the hospital under police watch.
Authorities are now weighing multiple charges against him, including making threats, resisting arrest, and causing bodily harm.
