Russia expels two British diplomats

Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has announced that two British diplomats have been ordered to leave the country due to “intelligence activities.”

This was reported by Interfax, citing FSB sources.

According to the FSB, both diplomats provided false information about themselves upon entering Russia.

The agency also claimed to have discovered what it described as “signs of intelligence and sabotage activities” that posed a threat to national security. A representative of the British Embassy in Moscow was summoned to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the matter.

The diplomats have been given two weeks to leave Russia.
