Man in London drove a car into a crowd: 20-year-old girl died on the spot

A 26-year-old man in a van drove into a crowd of people near the Royal College in London. As a result of the incident, a 20-year-old woman was killed, two others were hospitalized, and a third received on-site assistance.

The man was arrested at the scene. According to British media, he was driving under the influence of drugs. Witnesses report that the van crashed into a group of women. A representative of the London Ambulance Service noted that despite the medical efforts, one woman died, two others were taken to the hospital, and the fourth was discharged.

The police stated that the driver was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter due to careless driving under the influence of drugs. Authorities also clarified that the incident is not related to a terrorist threat.
