Trump urged undocumented immigrants to leave the U.S. via new app

U.S. President Donald Trump, in a video address, called on illegal migrants to voluntarily leave the country using the new CBP Home app.

It will replace the CBP One app, developed under Joe Biden’s administration, which was used for legally crossing the border, reports Axios.

People who are in our country illegally can either deport themselves or be forcibly deported, which is not very pleasant, Trump stated.

According to him, the CBP Home app will allow migrants to “easily and voluntarily leave the country right now.” He also warned that those who refuse to leave will be deported permanently and never allowed back into the U.S.

The launch of CBP Home is part of Trump’s strict immigration policy. According to Axios, the U.S. government has already spent $200 million on a campaign encouraging migrants to leave voluntarily. Additionally, on Inauguration Day, January 20, Trump declared a state of emergency at the southern border and promised mass deportations of millions of illegal migrants.
