In recent months, Tesla facilities in the U.S. have been targeted in a series of attacks. Vandals have damaged cars, charging stations, and company showrooms.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk strongly condemned these attacks, emphasizing that his company has done nothing harmful and simply produces a product.
Serious incidents have occurred in several cities:
In Las Vegas, several Tesla cars were set on fire near a service center, with the word “Resist” spray-painted on the building.
In Kansas City, vandals damaged a Cybertruck at a dealership.
In Colorado, a woman threw a Molotov cocktail near a Cybertruck and wrote the word “Nazi” at the entrance of a Tesla showroom.
In Boston, charging stations were attacked, while in Dedham, Tesla vehicles were vandalized with paint.
In Oregon, a man fired a rifle at a Tesla showroom window after previously attacking the store with Molotov cocktails.
U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi called these attacks acts of domestic terrorism. Authorities are currently investigating the incidents, while the public debates the possible motives behind the attacks.
