U.S. President Donald Trump stated that a complete ceasefire in Ukraine could be reached in the near future.
He noted that negotiations regarding the resolution of the conflict and the division of territories between Russia and Ukraine are currently taking place.
I believe that we will achieve a complete ceasefire very soon, and then an agreement will be reached, Trump said while speaking to reporters in the White House Oval Office.
According to the U.S. President, a ceasefire has already been established in some areas of the front, and it has been “very well” maintained so far. Trump also mentioned that the U.S., Ukraine, and Russia have already outlined the “framework” of a possible deal to resolve the conflict.
