A new round of talks between Ukrainian and American delegations aimed at negotiating a ceasefire between Kyiv and Moscow is underway in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The discussions, which began on March 25, were confirmed by several media outlets, including AFP, citing sources within the Ukrainian delegation.
According to a source, Ukrainian and American officials are continuing their talks, stating, “We are still working with the Americans.”
On March 24, it was reported that these new talks followed the completion of discussions between Russian and American delegations in Saudi Arabia.
The Russian delegation, as stated by the Kremlin, focused primarily on the resumption of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, which Russia had withdrawn from in 2023.
Earlier, on March 23, American and Ukrainian representatives also held a session in Riyadh.
