In the U.S., there has been a rising number of attacks on Tesla vehicles, including arson and gunfire.
In response, the FBI has launched a special task force to investigate these incidents. The agency’s director, Kash Patel, confirmed the development and emphasized the severity of the attacks.
“This is domestic terrorism. Those responsible will be found, arrested, and brought to justice,” Patel said on the X platform.
The attacks have targeted Tesla dealerships, charging stations, and private vehicles. The incidents have escalated amid growing public frustration, fueled by Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s collaboration with U.S. President Donald Trump and his involvement in significant reforms, which, according to media reports, have contributed to thousands of job losses in government agencies.
U.S. law enforcement has vowed to “go on the offensive,” with the FBI describing its new strategy as a proactive approach to addressing the attacks on Tesla vehicles.
