Poland’s ability to defend itself against a potential Russian invasion is currently limited, with the country’s stock of ammunition and equipment only sufficient for a defense lasting up to two weeks, according to Dariusz Łukowski, head of the Polish National Security Bureau.
“I think that depending on how the combat operations are conducted, this defense could last for a week or two with the current level of supplies. We are increasing this potential day by day. We expect that in the two or three years that we gain thanks to Ukraine’s resistance and the strengthening of our industry and defense programs, we will restore enough potential to be able to effectively counter potential Russian aggression,” Łukowski said in an interview with Polsat News.
