Bus overturns near Polish-Ukrainian border, all passengers safe

A passenger bus overturned near Przemyśl, located close to the Ukrainian border.

The incident occurred in the town of Makowa, south of Przemyśl. Preliminary police reports suggest that the driver lost control of the vehicle while attempting to overtake another vehicle.

Approximately 30 people were on board the bus at the time, and fortunately, all of them managed to exit the bus safely before rescue teams arrived. The nationality of the passengers and the registration details of the bus remain undisclosed. The bus was likely operating irregularly within Poland, as a sign reading “tourist” was visible under the windshield.

“The driver and passengers who need medical attention are receiving it. There are no serious injuries,” commented Marcin Betleja, a representative of the fire and rescue service in the region.
