Germany is looking for trainees to work in a deportation prison

In Völkstedt, in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, the construction of a deportation facility is beginning, which will accommodate up to 30 asylum seekers before their expulsion.

Ten entry-level specialists are needed to guard these individuals, and they will undergo special training. The vacancy for “deportation trainees” offers a competitive salary of €1458.94 per month, which is significantly higher than the average wage for other vocational training areas in Germany, where salaries range from €700 to €1000 gross. Candidates must have at least a high school diploma and completed vocational training.

Representatives of the state government explain that the decision to create such a facility is due to the increasing number of foreigners who are required to leave the country. In addition to general knowledge, candidates must pass tests on memory, logical thinking, and demonstrate physical endurance by performing push-ups and an obstacle course run.

The issue of migration remains one of the most discussed topics in Germany’s political agenda. During coalition negotiations, the idea of significantly increasing the number of such deportation centers for refugees was proposed.
