Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, is set to visit Hungary and meet with Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó. The meeting is scheduled to take place in Budapest on Friday, April 25.
The report comes from Reuters, citing a statement by the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The official purpose of the visit has not been disclosed. It is also unclear whether the trip is related to any potential business ventures. Trump Jr. serves as Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, overseeing operations in real estate, commercial properties, hotels, golf courses, and retail.
Recently, Trump Jr. has been actively traveling across Europe. He recently visited Serbia, where he met with President Aleksandar Vučić. Media reports also suggest he plans to visit Romania on April 28, just a week before the first round of the country’s presidential elections.
Back in January, he made a private trip to Greenland, amid earlier statements by his father about potentially bringing the island under U.S. control.
