A man has been arrested in Leeds after allegedly attacking several people with a crossbow and a firearm, leaving two women injured.
Police responded to reports of a serious incident involving weapons on the afternoon of April 26. Upon arrival, officers discovered three injured individuals — two women and the suspect himself, who had apparently inflicted wounds on himself.
The injured women were transported to a hospital for treatment, while the suspect was also hospitalized under police custody. Authorities recovered a crossbow and a firearm at the scene.
Given the circumstances, the investigation is being led by the Counter Terrorism Policing North East, supported by West Yorkshire Police. Officials have stated that a detailed investigation is underway to determine the full context and potential motivations behind the attack.
