Both sides emphasized the importance of creating conditions for the start of negotiations aimed at developing a reliable path to long-term peace.
The statement from the U.S. president mentions an agreement, and we are ready to conclude it. However, there are still some specific elements that require further work, and we are currently engaged in that process, Lavrov said.
Earlier, Lavrov stated that Russia demands an end to the Western supply of weapons to Ukraine in order to halt the fighting. He also recently mentioned that the Kremlin is ready to reach an agreement with the U.S. on Ukraine, but some details still need to be clarified.”
