Trump appoints the youngest press secretary in White House history

President-elect Donald Trump has announced that 27-year-old Karoline Leavitt will serve as the White House Press Secretary, making her the youngest person ever to hold this position.

Leavitt previously worked in the Trump administration, served as the press secretary for his campaign, and has experience in Congress. Trump praised her communication skills, calling her an “effective and determined professional.”

In her new role, Leavitt will represent the president’s position to the media amidst Trump’s traditionally tense relations with journalists. During his previous term, Trump replaced four press secretaries, and Leavitt will face significant pressure in this high-profile position.

Karoline is known for her criticism of mainstream media and active support for Trump on conservative platforms, which earned her the president’s trust.

Trump also plans to appoint Larry Kudlow, a financial analyst and Fox Business host, to a key economic role in his administration.
