The man, who had been living in Lower Saxony, regularly broke the law by causing disturbances in Lüneburg.
He was arrested several times but was released each time and continued his criminal activities. He now faces charges for assault, threats, fraud, and document forgery. According to police, his “criminal record” includes 51 offenses, with 22 cases of illegal entry into private property and 15 instances of fraud. He also assaulted police officers, threatened people, and attacked staff at a local bakery. One of the victims was a police officer who suffered facial, arm, and leg injuries during the suspect’s attack.
Special attention will be given to an incident involving a bakery saleswoman, whom the man struck and later attacked again, grabbing her by the neck and biting her arm. After this, the court decided to place him in custody, but it is still unclear when he arrived in Germany, as he did not apply for asylum.
At the peak of his criminal activity, the man threatened to kill a policewoman, making gestures symbolizing decapitation while issuing the threats. The court is not only set to deliver a verdict but also decide on his deportation.
