Stephen Miller, an advisor to elected U.S. President Donald Trump, confirmed that Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg met with Trump at his residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
According to Miller, Zuckerberg expressed his desire to support the changes that Trump plans to implement in the country.
Mark certainly has his own interests, as he has his own company and plans. However, he made it clear that he wants to support the national transformation in America that will happen under Trump’s leadership, Miller noted in an interview on Fox News.
Politico, citing a statement from a Meta representative, reported that Zuckerberg also met with members of the future White House administration. According to the source, the businessman expressed gratitude to Trump for the dinner invitation.
Earlier, Donald Trump had criticized Zuckerberg. In his book “Saving America,” he accused him of attempting to interfere in the 2020 elections and threatened him with imprisonment. Zuckerberg, after the July assassination attempt on the Republican, stated that he planned to vote for Trump in the next election.
