Zelensky replaces Ukraine’s ambassador to Germany amid diplomatic shake-up

In a bold diplomatic overhaul, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Alexei Makeev, the nation’s ambassador to Germany.

This decision is part of a sweeping plan to reshuffle Ukraine’s diplomatic corps, a move that underscores Zelensky’s intent to strengthen ties globally.

According to reports from German media, the Ukrainian leader is poised to appoint around 30 fresh ambassadors to key positions across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, the Americas, and other strategic regions.

While the specifics of Makeev’s departure remain under wraps, this change signals a broader strategy to adapt Ukraine’s foreign policy for an evolving international landscape. With such an ambitious reshuffling on the horizon, all eyes are on Zelensky as he redefines Ukraine’s diplomatic approach.
