Nigel Farage claims that Elon Musk remains his friend despite their disagreements.
According to Farage, they “kept in touch” after Musk unexpectedly spoke out against him, stating that Farage should be replaced as the leader of the Reform UK party, The Telegraph reports.
Of course, we are friends. He just expresses his opinion at any moment. Listen, he has said many good things about me. Only one of his statements wasn’t in my favor. It happens, Farage said.
He also added that he is not afraid to criticize Musk and emphasized that “no one can push him, intimidate him, or force him to step down.”
Recently, Farage said that he plans to “rekindle his relationship” with Musk when he comes to the U.S. for Donald Trump’s inauguration later this month. He noted that losing the support of Tesla’s founder could negatively impact the reputation of the Reform UK party among young people.
