A complete collapse of the Czech Republic’s current governing coalition is predicted in the upcoming parliamentary elections, with a new right-wing party set to enter parliament, according to recent forecasts.
If the election were held today, the ANO party, led by Andrej Babiš, would emerge as the outright winner. Among the four governing parties, only the ODS (led by Petr Fiala) and STAN (led by Vít Rakušan) would retain seats in parliament.
New data from MEDIAN also reveals that the Motoristé party, which holds right-wing views, would make its debut in parliament. Meanwhile, the SPD party, led by Tomio Okamura, is expected to secure seats with 5% public support.
